PAST EVENTS
Since Resonate’s official ‘birth’ in 2024, we have held Events with the intention of sharing joy and music, creating connectedness, gathering people, encouraging healing, inspiring expansive conversation, and creating uplifting, soulful experiences.
Events have included Café takeovers with our Conscious Bar, Musicians, and DJ, Healing Areas at local Festivals, Dances, Gatherings, Markets, Healing Events, Conversations, and Pop-Up Meditations.
(We also ran a small selection of local events under the same name, with a different team, branding, and ethos, as a ‘testing phase’ in 2021. These are not included in what we have shared below.)
THE (VERY FIRST) RESONATE STAGE
July 2026
We were given the wonderful opportunity to create our first Festival Stage by Love Belper for the Love Belper Festival, as part of the Strutt Street Party, organised by Resonate, a collaboration of the Cafes on the Street with the Resonate Stage.
This was an epic project and undertaking, and we put together a thoughtfully programmed line-up of high-quality music acts, with Creative Peaks on the Sound, and a brilliant production team that built our stage structure!
We also introduced the very first Resonation Transformation Station with Festival Face Glitter & Hair Braiding!
The Cafes made & served food outside and filled the Street with tables, the Resonate Stage was constructed, and an exquisite day ensued.
The Streets were packed, there were crowds dancing around the stage, every act was on-time, the sound system and the sound technicians were high-calibre, and we are extremely pleased with the outcome of the event.
The intention of the collaboration with the Cafes was to draw people down Strutt Street and boost their footfall, and every Café had a record-breaking day. Mission Success!
THE CONSCIOUS DANCE CAMPOUT
July 2026
‘The Land’ in Little Eaton approached us, and asked if we’d like to be part of the Conscious Dance campout; a 3 day retreat revolving around ecstatic dance.
We were honoured to be asked!
Martin lead a dance journey, held in a beautiful yurt, informed by many years as a DJ, and more recently by the practice of ecstatic dance. He shared a range of rhythms and textures, from ambient and ethereal to high-energy, earthy beats.
Angela was on the mic, opening the dance by tuning everyone into the Heart through the voice, and a Heart Opening Meditation that lead into movement and dance, offering prompts on the mic throughout, and some Live Instrumentation.
BELPER GOES GREEN #2
June 2026
We were once again recruited for the Belper Goes Green Wellbeing Area!
We kept it super simple this time, aiming for flow, simplicity, high quality offerings, and ease.
We had a schedule of;
Hatha Yoga, Drum Journey, Kundalini Yoga, Animal Flow Yoga, and Heart Opening Cacao Ceremony.
Alongside this,
We had Hayley from Wild Willows Forest School running Nature Printing Sessions, a Community Canvas for collaborative Painting, and Tapestry Weaving by Ola from Fleet Arts.
All workshops were full to the point of turning people away! And Martin packed out the dance tent to the rafters! Mission Success!
THE RESONATE SOCIAL #2
April 2026
After a rest from August 2025, we emerged in April 2026 for another Resonate Social; an invitation to come together, dance, sing, socialise, and emerge from the long and cold Winter.
We added some new cocktails to our Conscious Bar; a selection of physiologically altering drinks that are alcohol-free.
This time, we welcomed Reggae Music Band Frank Hunter and the Soul Rebels to the stage!
THE HEALING AREA

& all day Creation Stations, Resonation Appreciation Station, and Relaxation Stations!
THE RESONATE SOCIAL #1
April 2025
This was a BIG one! The debut of our Conscious Bar; a Café Takeover, with the intention of gathering, celebrating, dancing, and enjoying wholesome food, nourishing drinks, and uplifting vibes!
We launched of our collection of drinks for our Conscious Bar, held an Open Mic, presented a beautiful set from psych-folk musician Ben Tangle, closely followed by a high-vibe disco with DJMRB!
A JOURNEY INTO THE HEART
March 2025
A beautiful journey into the Heart, sold out within 48 hours!
Heart Opening Meditation & Talk by Angela Silver, Cacao Journey with Kirsty Robinson, Kundalini Yoga with Jess Beardsley, and Embodiment.
A journey focused on connecting to Love, the consciousness of the Heart, and moving out of the mind and into the body.

This was our biggest undertaking at this point in the journey.
The Healing Area:
2 Bell Tents and one open space, holding Meditations, Kundalini Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Sound baths, “Dreams as a Tool for Healing” Circle, “Ancestral Healing, Shadows, and Gifts” Circle, Tea Ceremony, Shamanic Drum Journey, Heart Opening Breathwork, Mantra Chanting, and Qi Gong.
Conversation Station:
Talks (and some audience demonstrations) on Quantum Healing, Reflexology, The Benefits & How-To’s of Deep Meditation, healing our connection to the land, and navigating a Spiritual Awakening in a Western World.
Creation Station:
Liv Art and Visionary Art Display, Community Art Pieces, Nature Based Craft Workshops, & The Resonation Appreciation Station.
The Young Traders Market
Collaboration with No.28 & Fleet Arts, July 2024
A 28 Stall Market, with Live Musicians, and a Café.
Every Stall holder, musician, cook and waitress was an Under 25 Year Old, celebrating the young creative community and giving them a platform.
We held free Yoga and Meditation in the Woods, with facilitators also Under 25.
Angela also worked with the Youth Council, and the Mayor, to bring the Youth Council into the Market and create a banner for them.
The Birth of the Resonation Appreciation Station!
May 2024
One night, we were chatting in the kitchen, the conversation surrounding meditation altars, and altars created in Spiritual spaces, and different words for ‘altar’. The conversation spiralled into ‘Appreciation Stations’, which became the Resonation Appreciation Station, which became an installation, 48 hours later, on one of the busiest days in Belper Town; the Belper Arts Trail.
The invitation is to write something you’re grateful for on a ribbon, and tie the ribbon to a branch or tree, creating feelings of gratitude in the person, and a field of gratitude at the station itself.
Since then, the Appreciation Station is a consistent feature at every single one of our events, and we have kept every single ribbon!
THE DANCE OF LIFE
March 2024
Using Glennie Kindreds Sacred Celebrations Book, we created a Dance Event to celebrate the Spring Equinox, 2024.
Using tree branches and fairy lights, we created a woodland-esque space, with a beautiful altar honouring the coming of Spring, and enjoyed an epic Dance Journey, with Heart Opening Breathwork, Meditation with Instruments, and a Seed Planting!
